Independent – A five-year-old child was reportedly detained for several hours at an airport before he was reunited with his mother following President Donald Trump’s executive order on “extreme vetting“.

The boy was apparently held by authorities after arriving from Iran with another family at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC.

Footage from Washington channel ABC7 shows an emotional woman, reported to be the child’s mother, embracing her son after she was forced to wait anxiously for him to be released by immigration control.
